Can you automatically expire items and remove them from the library on a certain date?
Some of our customers like to set an expiry date for their posts, documents or products, so that they are automatically removed (and anywhere else they appear on the website) on a set date.
This is not a feature of our plugins. However, you can achieve this by using our plugin to list your posts/products/documents in a library, and either of these free plugins to set the automatic expiry dates:
To make this work, you need to use one of the above plugins to expire and unpublish each item on a specific date in the future.
Note: This will only remove items if you are only displaying items with a Published status, as this is the default in the library. If you have used the status option to show additional statuses, then it will affect whether the items are hidden after they expire.
