How do I update the plugin?
We regularly release new versions of all our plugins.
We recommend installing any updates when they become available. This is because we’re constantly developing the plugin to add new features, fix any bugs and ensure compatibility with the latest version of WordPress (and WooCommerce if applicable). Updating to the latest version will let you take advantage of these improvements.
How to update
Updates are handled from the WordPress admin, in the same way as other plugins hosted in the wordpress.org repository. When an update is available, you will see a notice in the Plugins section of the WordPress admin or on Dashboard > Updates.
Click the update link under the plugin to update to the latest version.
How to update the plugin on a multisite
- Network Deactivate the plugin.
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard for a sub-site where the plugin is active and you have an active license key. The update should show up alongside the plugin in the ‘Plugins’ list.
- Go back to the Network admin and then network activate the plugin again, if required.
The plugin needs to be active on the sub-site for it to show. If the update doesn’t show, then check back regularly – WordPress checks for new updates every 12 hours.
Problems with updates
If you get an error when you try to update one of our plugins, please see the separate article on troubleshooting plugin updates. This lists the most common errors and the reasons behind them. It’s probably something simple such as your license key not being active.
