How to create user-specific wholesale products and pricing
WooCommerce Wholesale Pro lets you create as many wholesale user roles as you like, each with its own pricing. This article explains how to create pricing and products that are unique to individual wholesale users.
User-specific pricing
There are 2 ways to set unique pricing for each wholesale user:Â
1. Create one role for each customer
You can create a separate wholesale role for each customer, and assign them to that role. You can then use the pricing features in WooCommerce Wholesale Pro to set different pricing for each role.
2. Use the Customer Specific Pricing plugin
WooCommerce Wholesale Pro works with WisdmLabs' excellent Customer Specific Pricing plugin. You can use this to set a unique price for each wholesale user.
The user-specific prices will override the pricing in WooCommerce Wholesale Pro. For example, if you have used WooCommerce Wholesale Pro to set a specific discount for a role, then this will be ignored for customers that have their own pricing.
User-specific products
Some wholesale stores sell different products to each user. For example, you might need this if you sell branded workwear with the client's logo.
To do this, you would need to use WooCommerce Wholesale Pro with our other plugin - WooCommerce Protected Categories. WooCommerce Protected Categories lets you restrict each category to individual user accounts, making it easy to display different products to each wholesale user.
You can also use WooCommerce Protected Categories to select which user roles can access each category and its products. This is useful if you want to sell different products to different types of wholesale buyer, rather than individual users.
