The price includes a complete WordPress restaurant website, with up to 4 standard pages plus blog. We’ll also add your first 10 products and 3 categories to get you started (you can easily add more yourself).
The initial setup includes adding your content and up to 1 hour of revisions and support (which is more than most people need).
The monthly cost applies for as long as you need the website (minimum 12 month contract). It covers your web hosting, software updates and maintenance.
If you choose the online food ordering system option, then you will get all the standard features built into WooCommerce. You’ll also receive a free copy of our bestselling WooCommerce Product Table plugin, and the WooCommerce Product Add-Ons plugin.
Your food ordering system can have any or all of these useful features:

MySimpleFood is a fully managed, hosted website service. We’ve designed it to create professional restaurants for a cost-effective price. The catch is that you have less control over the design and will have to choose from a restricted choice of page layouts and features.
This shouldn’t be a problem because we have skilfully designed MySimpleFood to include everything that most restaurants need. However, if you have very specific ideas and aren’t willing to compromise then you may prefer a bespoke service.
Your restaurant can contain any or all of the pages, layouts and features from your chosen demo site. We can rename each section, change the menu, delete pages you don’t want, and remove any sections from the page layouts. We’ll add your logo and customise the main accent colours to suit your brand.
You can only have the layouts and features shown on the demo. This is because MySimpleFood is designed to follow a set format so that we can create restaurant websites more quickly without sacrificing quality.
As a general rule, only the pages and functionality shown on your chosen MySimpleFood demo site are included in the initial setup. However, not all the features of WooCommerce and WooCommerce Product Table are shown on the demo (simply because there are so many options!). Please contact us if you need something that isn’t on the demo, and we’ll advise on what’s possible.
You can pay separately for additional pages and specific extra features – get an instant web design quote for a price.
Absolutely! If you already own a domain name then you can use this for your restaurant website. If not, we’ll buy a .co.uk domain name (or equivalent) for you as part of the basic price of your website.
MySimpleFood is a hosted WordPress service created by Barn2 Media. Your restaurant website will be hosted on our ultra-fast premium UK server with the world’s largest WordPress host. Your website will load significantly faster than almost all other hosts and comes with extra features such as daily backups, performance-enhancements, and free staging sites.
Yes! We can integrate your affordable restaurant website with any 3rd party systems that provide widgets or code for us to embed on the site.
- TripAdvisor – Embed any of the TripAdvisor widgets into your website.
- OpenTable – Take table bookings with the OpenTable Restaurant Reservation widget.
- External Links – We can also link to your accounts on any other 3rd party website, for example if you have an OpenTable profile page.

Once you order your website, you will need to provide us with the text and images for each page. (We can source generic food-related images if needed.) We will design your website using one of the pre-designed WordPress themes shown in the MySimpleFood demos.
Our UK WordPress experts will build a unique restaurant for you, based on your chosen demo site.
Your finished restaurant website will be ultra-professional and designed to appeal to your customers and increase your sales.
Yes, you can edit your website content using the world leading WordPress content management system (CMS), which powers over 25% of all websites. You can easily add and edit pages, products, categories and posts. You can also manage your food orders and view stats and reports. We’ll provide detailed documentation on how to do everything.
Your WordPress restaurant website can include a blog or news section. This uses the blogging features built into WordPress. You can use it to post regular articles, recipes, news and other time-limited information. We’ll add a sample blog post for you so that you can start adding real ones. Your blog can be divided into categories, and you can call it whatever you like!
Your blog posts can include text, images, galleries, video and audio.
We’ll build your WordPress restaurant website to be SEO-friendly. You’ll have the tools you need to to optimise SEO data such as title tags for your pages and posts, or you can get us to do this for you (just select it on the quote). We’ll install Google Analytics where you can access statistical data about your website – this is a good way to increase your conversion rates.
We also offer ongoing SEO services to build your online profile even further.
Your website will come pre-installed with a selection of useful WordPress including SEO, image optimisation, contact form, newsletter signup, performance, anti-spam etc. – plus WooCommerce and WooCommerce Product Table if you’re having an online food order system. However, you won’t be able to install additional themes or plugins.
If you need any specific plugins or features that aren’t part of the MySimpleFood infrastructure, please ask us. If it will benefit our other restaurant owners then we may be able to add it to our system. If not, we will advise you of alternative ways to achieve what you’re looking for. For example, we don’t offer a table booking system with online availability, but we can achieve this by integrating your website with a 3rd party system such as OpenTable.
You will own your restaurant website after the first year. After 12 months, we will host and maintain the website indefinitely, for as long as you continue paying the monthly fee.

After the 12-month minimum contract, you can cancel at any time. Your MySimpleFood website will then be taken offline, unless you wish to migrate to a different web host.
If you choose to move to a different host in future, then we will have to do some work to transfer your restaurant website into a standalone WordPress installation. This will cost £400 + VAT. Once that work is complete, you will receive access to the files and database so that you can migrate the website to your own host.
Your WordPress or WooCommerce restaurant website will be hosted, supported and maintained by UK WordPress agency Barn2 Media. We will provide up to 1 hour of support during the setup process. Any further support will be billable separately.
Our standard rate for ad hoc support is £75 + VAT per hour (billed in minimum half hour periods). Discounted rates are available for regular support. We will always tell you beforehand if you ever request anything that isn’t covered by the existing quote.
